Welcome to APIPod. By accessing or using our AI API aggregation platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, accessing our API endpoints, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you may not use our services.
2. Service Description
APIPod provides a unified API gateway that aggregates multiple AI model providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others). Our platform offers:
- Multi-channel routing with automatic failover
- Circuit breaker protection for high availability
- OpenAI-compatible API endpoints
- Usage tracking and analytics
- Flexible billing and quota management
3. API Usage Rules
3.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use our API services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with:
- All applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations
- The acceptable use policies of underlying AI model providers
- Rate limits and quotas assigned to your account
3.2 Prohibited Activities
You may NOT use our services to:
- Generate, distribute, or promote illegal content, hate speech, or harmful material
- Violate intellectual property rights of any party
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our routing algorithms
- Share your API keys with unauthorized third parties
- Exceed rate limits through automated attacks or abuse
- Resell our API access without explicit written permission
- Use our services to compete with APIPod or underlying providers
4. Billing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
We charge based on token usage, requests, or other metrics as specified in your plan. Current pricing is available on our Pricing page and may be updated with 30 days' notice.
4.2 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred.
4.3 Refund Policy
Important Refund Terms:
- Refunds are ONLY available for unused credits in your account
- Credits that have already been consumed through API usage cannot be refunded
- To request a refund, contact us at [email protected] with your account details
- Refund requests are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe
- We reserve the right to deny refund requests for suspected abuse
4.4 Account Suspension
We may suspend or terminate your account for non-payment. Suspended accounts may incur reactivation fees.
5. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must:
- Use strong, unique passwords and enable two-factor authentication when available
- Never share API keys in public repositories or insecure channels
- Rotate API keys immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
- Notify us immediately at [email protected] of any security breach
6. Service Availability and Support
6.1 Uptime SLA
We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.
6.2 Third-Party Dependencies
Our service depends on upstream AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). We are not liable for outages or performance issues caused by these providers, though our multi-channel routing is designed to minimize such impacts.

7. Intellectual Property
APIPod and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Content generated through our API belongs to you, subject to the terms of underlying AI provider licenses. You grant us a license to process and route your requests as necessary to provide the service.
8. Data Privacy
We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to such processing and warrant that all data provided is accurate.
9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability
9.1 Service "As Is"
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, APIPod shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use our services
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
- Errors, bugs, or interruptions in service
- Content or conduct of third parties using our platform
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified via email or dashboard notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the service will cease immediately
- Unused credits may be eligible for refund at our discretion
- All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or binding arbitration.
